On Tuesday, in the 5th, my prime wager Glen Wilding won by four and paid $5.20. My soft wager in the 1st, Call On Joshua was through early. Among my contenders only selections, my 2nd race $8 exacta key box returned $11.20 and my 6th race $12 exacta box returned $35.00. So it goes...

2nd - Contenders Only - Exacta Key Box 1/2,3

3rd - Contenders Only - Exacta Key 9/5,7,8,11 and a saver Exacta 5/9. (Subscribers know why we are off of Kenny Run).

4th - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 2,7 and Trifectas 2,7/All/2,7

5th - A soft wager, Bello Papa (2). BP has been posting some above par figs against better in the fall. Gerry Bennett is great with the L1-3 +S angle (25% last three seasons). BP loves Tampa. Luis A. Gonzalez has had a great start at the Downs this season. 6-1 ML sweetens it. Win and saver Exacta Box 2,3 and Trifectas 2/4,5,11/3.

6th - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 2,5,6

7th - Contenders Only - Exacta Key Box 10/3,7 and Trifectas 3,7,10/1/3,7,10.

8th - A soft wager, Repenter (7). Untested half-brother to the speedy Stakes winning Repenting gets the nod here for Dale Bennett with Centeno in the irons. Debut marked by poor start and fast final fraction (two clicks faster than par). Another chance today. Win and a saver Exacta 8/7.

9th - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 4,8 and Trifectas 4,8/1,2,5/4,8

10th - Contenders Only - Exacta Key 6/2,8,10
