Prime Wager Results 4-11 (36%) -$3.40 (4-2-3) (82% ITM)

On Tuesday, in the 2nd, my prime wager Magic Carpet Glide set a solid pace and weakened in the final furlong, settling for third. In the 5th, my other prime wager Kaleigh Rose bested the rest but was solidly beaten by Meadow Saffron. My soft wager in the 4th, Mucho Dinero was ready as expected, winning by six and paying $5.40. My exacta also clicked in the 4th for $20.60. Among my contenders only selections, there were two winners in the 3rd ($5.40) and the 9th ($7.80). So it goes...

5th - A prime wager, He Struck It Rich (1). Rich races for a $20K purse for only the second time and has been improving continuously while racing with dem yanks in the Empire State. Returns to Tampa to finally get it done. Takes em wire to wire today, shaking free of all competition. Struggling Velez gets a morale booster here. Win and a saver Exacta Key Box 1/6,8.

6th - A soft wager, Rahoo (1). Put up a 90 in a par 83 on Opening Day. Today's par is 85. Has an excellent record. No good reason why he can't repeat today with LA Gonzalez up again after Fort Knox (2) and Mr. Easy E. (4) are eaten up in a speed duel early. Unbridled Behavior (8) may be cheap but is razor sharp from the looks of things. Smart Partner (6) has won three sprints at the Downs and plunges in class today. Has been very sharp in the morning. Win and Exacta Key Box 1/6,8.

7th - Contenders Only - Exacta Key Box 5/2,3,10 and Trifectas 5/8/2,3,10.

8th - Contenders Only 2,6,7

9th - Contenders Only - Exacta Key Box 3/2,10.

10th - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 7,10 and Trifectas 7,10/7,10/4,5.
