Results 2-8 (-$7.40) (2-1-0)
Yesterday in the second, West Texas went right to the lead and never looked back and once again everyone was on to him ($4.40). Right Flanker made a nice middle move before flattening out in the seventh. Right Flanker was claimed by Mary Bennett so I guess at least one other person liked the animal. This 4YO has lots of solid efforts in his future. Stay tuned.
This afternoon, in the second I'm all over Keystone Point (PP1). One of Tampa Bay Downs leading trainers, Kirk Ziadie is still looking for the ice breaker on day six of the meeting and has employed red hot (and she's easy on the eyes too!) RB Homeister Jr to bring the Point home in front. In his first race over the course Keystone Point put up an above par 64 (in a par 63) while passing tiring rivals. Ziadie has a record of getting it done with second starts over the TBD oval and with sprints to routes.
Joe says the heavy rains that came 36 hours ago will proabably keep them off the Turf again today so we'll steer clear of those races today.
Good luck and good racing!
