Tampa Bay Downs Selections - 12/28/07

Results 3-10 (-$7.20) (3-1-0)

Prince Nick came home in front yesterday. Maybe I should have pizza more often.

This afternoon, its Tanquery Time (PP2) in the second. Fontana is the king of the bomb makers and why is Daniel Centeno interested in this gelding today. He's been working well after being winless in 13 starts in 2007. It's time he earned his keep. I've already missed several Fontana putovers two weeks into the season and I know he'll have 7 or 8 more before it's over. It's worth a few bucks anyway.

In the third, I've got Sea Salty Run (PP7). Carl Cooper is still looking for win number 1 this season and he puts over some beauties too! Salty shortens up from 7F to 6F after showing signs of life six days ago. The fastback is the Cooper signal that they'll be trying today.

In the fifth, Sheza Match (PP7) comes home in front. In her last, Blues Muse was DQ'd for intereference in the stretch, cramping the Match's style. She will get a chance to unwind today.

Good luck and good racing!

Johnny B.
