Tampa Bay Downs Selections - 3/4/08

On Sunday, I had the first half of the DD for $10.20, but my horse scratched in the second. If you boxed my three choices in the first race exacta, you collected $41.60. My sixth race exacta box clicked for $48.20. In the tenth, Si Si Mon Amie hung late and had to settle for second. So it goes...

Selections for Tuesday:

1st - DD 7/8

2nd - A soft wager, Jammin in the Sand (PP8). Jammin's last was a 65 (and not the 57 reported in the Telegraph and that's about 3 extra lengths). Put up two 65's in December. Today's par is 58. Drops from N2Y to N1Y. Adds Centeno. A solid bet. Bet win and an exacta key 8/1,7,9.

3rd - Exacta key 8/5,6,10

4th - A soft wager, Line Euro (PP2). Line Euro was second best two weeks ago when he was beaten by Tricks of Glory. Chased in a fast pace in that race and posted a 65 (today's par is 58). In top form now. Loves the Downs. Bet to win and save with the 2,4 exacta box.

5th - Exacta box 1,7,8

6th - Trifecta 8,10/8,10/5,6

7th - Exacta key 7/4,6

8th - A soft wager, Tight Precision (PP4). Finished a strong second, first time over with a 72 (today's par is 68). Can't find another contender. Proctor/Velez add one more win to their respective records. Will be very short. Look for an exacta combo that will make her win financially worthwhile.

9th - Exacta key 1/7,9,11

10th - Exacta box 10,12
