On Friday, my prime wager in the 5th, Lite Legacy went off at 11-1, was going for it but weakened late finishing fourth by three. My soft wager in the 10th, Mystamy won easily and paid $3.60. My contenders only selections failed to deliver a winning return yesterday. So it goes...

3rd - Contenders Only - Exacta Key Box 4/1,2 and Trifectas 1,4/2,5,6,8/1,4

4th - Contenders Only - Lakeside Run (4). Heavily bet in debut. Adds Lasix. Clement and Centeno are on fire. Been Awhile (12) above par in last. Exacta Box 4,12 or Exacta Key 4/All if the 12 doesn't go.

5th - Contenders Only - Nana's Hope (8) is the only horse that's ever been close at 9F. Takes a double drop. LI Ice Tea will be out front and could get away. Bet down in first start of the season. Exacta Box 8,9 and Trifectas 8,9/2,3,7/8,9

6th - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 4,9 and Trifectas 4,9/1,2,3,10/4,9

7th - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 1,3,4 and Saver Exacta 1,3,4/8

8th - A soft wager, General Quarters (4). Made up 11 lengths from the 2nd call to the finish in the Inaugural and was flying at the finish going the last quarter in under 24. Win, Exacta Key Box 4/6,7 and Trifectas 4/1,2,6,7/1,2,6,7

9th - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 1,2,4 and Trifecta Box 1,2,4,6

10th - Contenders Only - Exacta Key Box 3/4,5 and Trifecta Box 3,4,5/1,2/3,4,5

11th - A soft wager, Sentimental Concert (5). Superior pace and speed and the dropdown make today look like graduation day for Chad Stewart who does his best work with maiden claimers and is always trying on the fastback. Phil Teator is having a great season and won two sprints yesterday.
