On Sunday, my prime wager in the 10th, Juicy Loots, a speedball, would not go in the gate and then broke 15 lengths behind, finishing out of the money. The winner had an $8500 win bet laid down at the opening. There was something hinky about the race. My soft wager in the 8th, Breeze Keeper diasppointed as the even money favorite and finished out of the money. Among my contenders only selections, my $12 trifecta wager in the 6th returned $51.60 and my $16 exacta key box in the 7th clicked for $41.60. Two of my contenders only plays scratched. So it goes...

6th - A soft wager, Littledovefeather (7). Posted a 101 in last (today's par is 80) and takes a significant drop. Beaten by Vanquisher in last. Switch to RoHo from struggling Velez. Alexander is always tough in turf routes. Win, Exacta Key Box 7/1,4,8 and Trifectas 4,7/1,5,8/4,7

7th - Contenders Only - Exacta Key Box 5/1,2 and Trifectas 6/1,2,5/1,2,5

8th - Contenders Only - Exacta Key Box 3/2,6 and Trifectas 2,3,6/7/2,3,6

9th - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 2,6 and Trifectas 2,6/3,4,5/2,6

10th - A soft wager, Tawnimara (9). Above par in both races this season. Centeno jumps from MVP Grand who was the beaten favorite in both his tries (and with lesser figs). McCarthy has respectable numbers on the fastback. Win, Exacta Key 9/3,4 and Trifecta 9/1,6,7,10/3,4
