In the third race on opening day, I'm looking for trainer Charles Fontana and jockey Daniel Centeno to get the job done with Westcoasteastcoast (PP7). The gelding, a previous winner at the Downs is shipping in from CRC on 13 days rest, while dropping a notch in the claiming ranks and shortening up from 1 mile to 6F. It's time for him to graduate from the N3L condition.
In the seventh, its Rafael Ramos and Irwin Rosendo teaming up for a victory with Babalo (PP5). Dropping from ALW NC to N2X(OC32) after waking up at Suffolk last month, Babalo should put these away if he can put up anything close to the 82 he accomplished in his last race (today's par is also 82 for the 1 1/16 Miles on the Turf).
Good luck and good racing!
