Four for five on Tuesday. Finally a good day. My best bet of the season won by 5, so I don't have to apologize to all the people I emailed, encouraging them to bet the house on it. Tomorrow, a well deserved day of rest.
This afternoon, in the ninth, a prime bet, Oberalp (PP3) for the win. Shortens up from 6 1/2 to 6F after posting an 80 in his last (today's event is a par 73). Gerald Bennett's second starts generally outperform his first. Looks to be much the best. Ness and Centeno team up with Born a Legend (PP4), but Ness usually isn't productive on the layoff/shipper angle. I'll play Oberalp (PP3) to win.
In the tenth, a soft selection, Bastion of Style (PP10). I'm looking for Velez to bust out and not look back at these plodders. Gal's Victory (PP8) could be under wraps, but switch to Mata is not promising.
