On Saturday, in the sixth, a prime wager. Phyl's Notebook (PP7) demonstrated that she still has it and is ready for a win. Running close to Patricia in ALW NC last out, Phyl finished 7th with an above par 74 (today's par is 73). Among the local's, she's the only one to have graduated from the N2X condition. Looks like a go for Contreras and Montalvo. Speeding Fever (PP5) completes the exacta.
In the tenth, a prime wager. Meredith Bee (PP6) is a serious contender and will be up late after Taylor Madison (PP2) and Silk Candy (PP9) duke it out up front. The Bees connections have high expectations for her and I think Bill Mott has found the right spot this afternoon. Velez rides.
