On Tuesday, my BEST BET paid $19.00. The eigth race exacta box clicked for $28.80 and the tenth race exacta box won and paid $24.40. In the second, All Hail Stormy was bet down (and claimed) but gave way after chasing the leader for a half. In the sixth, Irish Ballerina failed to menace (keep an eye on this one). So it goes...
On Thursday, a very competitive card so watch the board closely and go exotic.
1st - Exacta box 1,4,6, DD 6/4
2nd - Tri key 4/5,8,9
3rd - Exacta box 3,6,8
4th - Tri box 4,6,7,10
5th - Exacta key 4/2,3,5
6th - Exacta box 1,7,9
7th - A soft wager, Disco Bunny (PP4). Disco Bunny was well placed first time over on 2/1 and was shut off in the stretch losing momentum and all possibility of recovering. The lightly raced filly will improve today and this field is weak. Cronk is good with the 2L1-3/2S and switches to Irwin Rosendo today. The price will be right. Lucky Day (PP9) stopped first time over on 1/6, could wake up. My Monarchos (PP6) will be tough if ready, but the L4-8 is not one of Gerry Bennett's strengths. Bet the 4 to win and consider a 4,6,9 exacta box.
8th - A soft wager, Positively Charming (PP4). This $600,000 filly means business and her figs bear it out. Proctor would not opt for the St/R unless he was reasonably certain she could handle it and he has a 40% win percentage on the Right Back angle. Velez rides again.
9th - Exacta key 5/2,4,6
10th - Exacta box 1,11
