On Friday, on the off track, I posted contenders only and wound up with two winners, three seconds, and a third, including the 11th race exacta box for $21.40. Three of my top choices scratched. So it goes...

On Saturday, they're off the grass so races 6,8 & 11 just got a lot more dicey. On top of that the track will be off, no matter what they decide to call it. A good day to go easy at the windows...

1st - Exacta key 8/5,9

2nd - Exacta key 10/4,5,9

3rd - Exacta box 1,4,7

4th - Exacta box 2,5,8 (Give Dennis's Dream a rest already, you greedy bastard!)

5th - A soft wager, Ashley and I (PP2). Angevine has been working with A&I since 1/15, when she posted a 76 (today's par is 60) in her first off the claim in C16. This afternoon, she drops a notch. A&I is one of those good ones, very reliable and loves Tampa Bay Downs. The layoff will help, not hinder. Switch to Morales another good sign. Bet to win and in the exacta box 2,5,9 for the saver.

6th - Exacta key 9/1,2,12

7th - A soft wager, Holiday Moment (PP10). Rafael Ramos is one of the best off the claim and his signature move is up in class and shortening up in distance. But 5F? Sometimes you gotta leave it to the experts and Ramos is one of them. I'll bet win and save with the 7,8,10 exacta box.

8th - Exacta box 8,10

9th - A soft wager. Breeze Keeper (PP5). BK posted a 65 (the best fig in the field) at the distance on 1/6, today's par is 59. Has had two at the route in MSW at TBD since and raced forwardly in the early going in both of those. Is entered for a tag again and figures to be right there. JD Lopez rides for Rick Creel. Chirac's (PP7) debut was a respectable 50 and Cibelli is great with the 2TS's. Alie's Doublecross has been spending a lot of time in the back of a moving box lately. Centeno bails. Comes in 11 lbs. lighter with Monserrate aboard. Should get a piece. Bet Breeze Keeper (PP5) to win and a 3,5,7 exacta box.

10th - Exacta box 3,5,9

11th - DD 1,7,8/5

12th - A soft wager, Bubble Berry (PP5). BB is another that has been pressing the pace at the route and shortens up to 6.5F today. Drops out of MSW to MC25 for the first time. A bullet work at 5F on 2/22. Switch to Centeno. It all adds up to me.
