On Saturday, in the 2nd, Three Cities dueled from the outset, shook free leaving the furlong marker, then just failed to last finishing second as the $0.60-1 favorite. In my contenders only selections, the 4th race exacta box clicked for $63.40 (my three choices in the 4th race also completed the trifecta for $283.20). In the 11th, my exacta combination returned $58.20. So it goes...

On Tuesday, you can stay alive for at least two minutes if you bet the 5th, an MSW for 4YO's & Up at 1 3/8ths miles on the grass.

1st - DD 1,2,3/9

2nd - A soft wager, Patched (PP9). Patched won last in N2Y company and became eligible to race in N2Y again six days later on 3/14. Talk about a horse being a good fit for the conditions! Last was an above par 73 (today's par is 63). Figures to repeat, even if his trainer doesn't. I'm betting win and straight trifectas 9/5/10 and 9/10/5.

3rd - Exacta box 1,3,5

4th - Exacta box 3,5,8

5th - Trifecta box 1,3,5,6

6th - Exacta box 4,5

7th - Exacta box 5,8,10

8th - A soft wager, Heartaches (PP6). Returns to a sprint on the dirt where both starts were above par. Blazing bullet work on 3/16. Cibelli wants this win in third off the claim. Pablo Morales brings it home.

9th - Exacta box 2,7,14

10th - Exacta box 3,7,10
