On Tuesday, Patched won the 2nd like a champ and paid $13.00, putting me back in the black for the season. In the 8th, Heartaches had to settle for second, after an impressive victory by Repenting. My contenders only selections came up empty today. So it goes...

On Wednesday, a sunny outlook from the Sunshine State.

1st - Exacta box 1,7,10

2nd - Exacta box 8,9

3rd - Tri key 5/1,4,6

4th - Exacta box 2/5,6

5th - Exacta box 1,3

6th - A soft wager, Native Dress (PP7). Native Dress drops down to C12,500 after racing for a $32,000 tag in last, an optional claiming race at 7/8ths on 2/16. In that race, five of the contenders were entered under the ALW N2X condition and it was a strong field. Native Dress posted a respectable 77 (today's par is 59). This afternoon, she shortens up to 6F. Should appreciate the 40 day rest which gave Contreras more than enough time to work with his new charge. I'm betting win and a 7/3,6 exacta box.

7th - Exacta box 1,4,8

8th - Exacta box 3,6

9th - Tri key 5/2/All

10th - DD 1,3,5/11

11th - A soft wager, She's Bloomin (PP11). She's Bloomin strikes me as the best suited to go another panel this afternoon. Last was at par on 3/11. Regularly races above par at the route. Has been racing with better (with exception of last). Figures to improve in second time out on the main track. RoHo's riding style a good match for She's Bloomin. Meet you at the winners' circle.
